Ananya Panday's first Bollywood film, Student Of The Year 2, is out for people to watch on the big screen. Few years down the line, we will see the actress doing some phenomenal work. Being bitten by the acting bug in her childhood itself, the 20-year-old always aspired to enter the tinsel town and impress the masses with her acting chops. Not just the Panday girl, but her BFF's Suhana Khan and Shanaya Kapoor have been fascinated with acting since childhood. Recently, in an interview with Mid-Day, the SOTY 2 star revealed how all three of them would put performances in front of their parents.
"It has been our collective dream to become actors. I hope Suhana and Shanaya join the industry soon because they both are so talented. When we were young, during our family gatherings, we would put together shows and perform in front of our parents. Shah Rukh (Khan) sir would record us on a Handycam, and we would make short films out of them," said Ananya.
Acknowledged the fact she comes from a privileged background, Ananya added, "I am aware of my privilege. But, at the same time, I am also aware that I auditioned for SOTY 2. So, I am not going to feel guilty that I got the film through my father's contacts. At the end of the day, the audience isn't stupid. I hope they like my work." Well, the film has already hit the silver screens. The Punit Malhotra directorial featuring Ananya, Tiger Shroff and Tara Sutarais is getting a mixed reaction but the Panday girl is being lauded for her acting skills.
After Student Of The Year 2, we will see the millennial in Mudassar Aziz's Pati Patni Aur Woh remake with Kartik Aaryan and Bhumi Pednekar. Speaking about her experience of working with the Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety star, she had earlier said, "Shooting with Kartik was so nice because he is such a selfless actor. He doesn t think about: oh mere lines jyada hai (I have more lines) and what are your lines? He just thinks about how to make the scene better. Even if he doesn t have any dialogues, he will help me with my dialogues. So, I think that way, it was really nice." The movie releases and clashes with Arjun Kapoor- Kriti Sanon's Panipat on December 6, 2019.
