TV actress Dalljiet Kaur who is known for doing TV shows like Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon, Guddan Tumse Na Ho Payega, Qayamat Ki Raat and such, walked in the Bigg Boss house last night. The actress who separated with her husband Shaleen Bhanot has been in the news for making sure that Bhanot does not enter the house. Apparently, the actress put her foot down, and said that she will opt out if the makers get him on board. To this in an interview with Bombay Times, Dalljiet said, "I don't think I am that big a name yet to call the shots. Well, I definitely hope that I become that big some day. Whether Shaleen takes up a show or not is his prerogative. We are extremely cordial and happy in our respective lives. I wish him happiness."
Talking about her strategy in the show, Dalljiet was asked if she play the 'single mother' card in the house as she has a son named Jaydon. "I have done so much work that my claim to fame cannot be my personal life. I feel that people want to see the real me and I am excited about this opportunity. It would have been impossible for me to take up this show two years ago, because I was searching for stability back then. I was without work for a year-and-a-half, and it was a luxury I couldn't afford. It's scary being the only earning member in the house. However, now that I have got a hold over my life once again, I hope that people see my inner strength. I will miss my son, but that has got nothing to do with the fact that I am a single mother. Every mother would miss her child," Dalljiet replied.
The actress also spoke about her relationship status. "Sadly, I am very much single and I wish I had a better story to tell you. I am too busy with work to go on that route right now. I would definitely like to give marriage another chance, but only with the right man and at the right time. I have a child and his future is most important for me. Having said that, everything is so beautiful in my life now that I don't feel I am missing out on anything."
