When YRF announced that they are making a high-octane action-thriller with Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff on a lavish scale, all cine-goers jumped with joy as they were excited to see the two stars best in the action business in one frame. After shooting for around 10 to 11 months, we saw the teaser of the film and it blew our mind completely. Later, the makers revealed trailer and two songs, which just took our excitement to the next level. War is currently the hot property at the box office and since it's been two weeks that audience have not seen a film at the ticket windows, War has a huge chance to take a gigantic opening at the box office.
The film is releasing on the national holiday of Gandhi Jayanti and as per our predictions, War has the potential to collect around or more than Rs 45 crore on its opening day, which will make him the biggest opener of the year beating Salman Khan's Bharat, which collected just above Rs 42 crore on its first day. The film has an extended week of 5 days and we are hoping this movie to at least collect Rs 150 crore in that period.
Apart from War, Chiranjeevi and Nayanthara starrer Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy is also coming at the box office. While the film will dominate the South circuit, the word of mouth will play a crucial role in the northern circuits for the film to perform well. It will be a great start for Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy if its Hindi version earns in double-digit figures on its first day, we are expecting it to rake in between Rs 6 to 8 crore. If it strikes the chord with the audience it will turn out to be a success like Yash's KGF.
Hollywood venture, Joker will also release this Wednesday in India. The Joaquin Phoenix starrer is a psychological thriller that received an eight-minute standing ovation at the Venice Film Festival. The trailer has worked big time and we are expecting this film to open around Rs 3-5 crore since it is an A-rated film. Directed by Todd Philips, the film also features Robert De Niro, Zazie Beetz and Frances Conroy in key roles.
