It seems before Ayushmann Khurrana hits the theatres with his bald man story, Bala, someone else is going to take away the cake. Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety actor Sunny Singh is coming up with an interesting drama, which makes him go bald on the screens. Sunny has gone bald for Udja Chaman, a slang used for baldness. The movie deals with baldness and joining him in the movie is TV actress Aishwarya Sakhuja. The actress best known for Saas Bina Sasural and Nach Baliye will be making her Bollywood debut with this movie. Although we are not quite sure of what her character is about.
The first poster of the movie has been dropped. The movie has been directed by producer Abhishek Pathak, who will make his debut as a director with the film. Interestingly if you notice carefully the makers have tried taking a jibe at Bala. One of the taglines on the poster reads, 'Takle ki pehli aur asli film,' which literally means the first and original story on a bald man.
Ujda Chaman also stars Maanvi Gagroo, Karishma Sharma and Aishwarya Sakhuja. It will hit the theatres on November 8.
BL Verdict:
The trailer indeed looks quite promising with a quirky take on baldness.
