Telugu film comedian Venu Madhav is in a critical condition, put on ventilator

Popular Telegu film comedian Venu Madhav has acted in over 170 movies in Telugu is said to be in a critical condition after he was admitted to a private hospital in Secunderabad. The actor had complained of liver and kidney problems and was undergoing treatment at the hospital. According to the Hindu, the comedian was in the hospital for two weeks and discharged on Sunday. He was reportedly advised to undergo liver transplantation. However, unfortunately, his condition worsened after being discharged so family members brought him to the hospital on Tuesday noon. Reportedly, he was shifted to the Intensive Critical Care Unit and put on a life support system.

Venu Madhav who started with doing mimicry went on to become an actor and is quite popular in the Telugu film industry, thanks to his body of work and hilarious characters in superhit films including Master, Suswagatham, Tholi Prema and Thammudu, the comedian roused to the top in a short span of time. He made his movie debut with Sampradayam in 1996 and was last seen in the film Dr Paramanandaiah's Students Gang in 2016. He has even featured in a couple of Tamil films.

The 39-year-old actor born in Kodad of Suryapet district, however, hasn't been seen on the big screen in recent times. Earlier, there have been several instances when Venu Madhav was rumoured to have succumbed to health-related issues. However, in December last, he evinced interest in contesting the Assembly elections and even filed nomination papers from Kodad assembly constituency. We wish the actor a speedy recovery.
